Prince of Wales Private Hospital Pre Admission Clinic

The Pre-Admission Clinic (PAC) is a service offered to our admitting Doctors and their patients. You may be required to attend an appointment prior to your admission.

If your Doctor requests your attendance, please make an appointment by phoning (02) 96504176, if your call is not answered please leave a message.

The PAC is open Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm.

Your appointment at the PAC may be up to three weeks prior to surgery and the appointment may take up to 2 hours.

During your appointment at the PAC, you will have any necessary pre-operative tests and a consultation with health professionals regarding your procedure. Your Anaesthetist may also wish to consult with you on this day.

A relative or friend may accompany you if you wish.

If you are attending the PAC, please bring with you:

• All your original admission forms
• Any information from your GP
• Any additional test requests from your doctor
• A list of your current medications and dosages

Please note: There is no charge for attending the Prince of Wales Private Hospital PAC however, some of the tests and assessments performed may incur a fee by the individual service provider.
